AN IMPORTANT PAIR OF ANTIQUE EARLY GEORGE III PERIOD THREE-LIGHT FLAT-CUT CANDELABRA
English, circa 1760

An exceptionally large and important pair of early George III period three-light flat cut candelabra, each tall base made in one piece and supporting two double kick candle arms with star-shaped drip trays, a central S-shaped arm with star-shaped drip tray; and behind the candle branches two reverse shaped crooks supporting facet cut tapering finials; the central triangular spire knotched cut to edges and supporting double ogee canopies and star-shaped finials, all hung with finial pear shape drops and chains of oval drops.
